Permiso a Ochún es una obra de video-danza inspirada en el Butoh, que convoca a un grupo de cuerpos a desplazarse en un espacio sagrado, habitado por la presencia de una deidad ancestral. A través del movimiento, los intérpretes realizan un acto ritual de solicitud y apertura, buscando permiso para transitar y explorar territorios que no les pertenecen del todo. El cortometraje traza un puente entre lo espiritual, lo performativo y lo cinematográfico, desplegando un gesto de respeto y diálogo con la divinidad de Ochún.
Permiso a Ochún is a video-dance work rooted in Butoh, where a group of bodies move through a sacred space inhabited by an ancestral deity. Through their gestures, the performers engage in a ritual act of asking permission, seeking to explore territories that are not entirely their own. The film unfolds as a bridge between the spiritual, the performative, and the cinematic, offering a gesture of respect and dialogue with the divinity of Ochún.

suficiente el sonido del agua que tienen los mares, el sonido del agua
que tienen los ríos, y el sonido del agua que tienen los cuerpos.

Desde tiempos remotos, el espejo ha sido pensado como ambivalente. Es la superficie que reproduce imágenes y en cierto modo también las contiene y las absorbe. Es constantemnte relacionado con cualidades mágicas. Esta pieza audiovisual combina fotos análogas en 35mm y video digital para narrar el hallazgo de un espejo mágico en un tianguis de la Ciudad de México.

It is constantly related to magical qualities. This audiovisual piece combines 35mm analog photos and digital video to narrate the discovery of a magic mirror in a flea market in Mexico.
